Working principle:

The 2100Q portable turbidity meter uses scattering method to measure turbidity, that is, the turbidity tester sends out a beam of parallel light, so that it passes through the sample. When it encounters particulate matter, the propagation direction of light will be changed, forming scattering. The scattering light of particulate matter in water is detected from the direction of 90° with the incident light, and the scattering degree is proportional to the number of suspended particles.
